About the Company
The company jbm.ie was established to further develop and expand the successful business of our Parent company JBM Jordan. JBM Jordan was established in 2002, based in Galway, providing point of sale solutions to both the Hospitality and retail sector throughout Ireland. An already well established and large satisfied customer base exists throughout the 32 counties of Ireland.
Now specialising in three key markets, Hospitality, Retail & Fashion we provide a consultative approach to our selling. We look at the overall requirements of our clients and from there offer a menu of suitable products and services that will help to streamline & grow their business. Our services include complete integrated Epos solutions, web design, ecommerce (online ordering & bookings) and navigating successfully through the online marketing world.
To complement our Epos offering to the Hotel Industry we are the sole distributors for the Silverbyte - Optima Property Management System. An excellent solution for medium to large hotels or Hotel groups offering an integrated, comprehensive line of solutions for all aspects of Hotel operations. In addition to a fully integrated PMS & Epos solution we can provide additional add on integrated solutions, e.g. Conference & Banqueting Events, Online reservation system, SMS Marketing tool, Guest frequency programme all of which are supported by our Hospitality consultants.

Michael Jordan –MD (Sales & Product Development)
Michael has extensive experience in point of sales & business solutions for the
Hospitality & Retail sector. Michael has for 18 years worked in POS Sales & development
and during this time has built up a large & loyal client base throughout Ireland.
His expertise ensures that all our clients get a system that meets their requirements and helps
them to continue to grow their business. Prior to setting up JBM Michael was an EPOS Senior
Sales and Key account Manager, covering Ireland. Apart from his important management role
Michael has excellent trouble shooting and relationship building skills.
Paul Halpenny – Managing Director (Marketing)
Paul brings with him a wealth of hospitality experience having worked in both the domestic & International industry. His six years were spent working with the International Hotel Brand, Best Western International, as the Managing Director of their International Operations department. Paul has key knowledge in the areas of hotel room distribution strategies, online marketing, online reservation system, yield management & the implementation of Property Management Solutions (Hotel PMS). His expertise ensures that once the JBM Optima hotel management system is installed in your hotel its global leading POS technology & hotel management software is immediately working to help the hotels bottom line.
Simon Duffy– Sales Manager
Simon is highly experienced in both the hospitality management and information Systems industries.
Having previously worked in the Software distribution industry Simon brings both technical and practical expertise to our support and training services.
He deals with customer support, Sales, Services issues and System information.
Margaret Jordan – Administrator / Director
Margaret has many years experience in administration and finance, and is co-founder of JBM with her husband Michael. Margaret’s expertise in customer relationship and client handling plays an integral part in JBM’s customer service and ongoing customer retention. Prior to setting up JBM Margaret spent 10 years working administration and Sales. Margaret has excellent analytical and management skills, and is responsible for the Client Services Department within JBM.
Shane Lawless – Director of Systems & Support
Shane has a degree in Information Technology and eight years working experience with both hospitality and retail EPOS solutions. He has excellent knowledge of all technical requirements for EPOS systems from installation, training and back up service. From the completion of the initial site survey to attending the three month after sales meeting, Shane ensures a smooth transition & introduction to all JBM systems. Shane continues to make a valuable contribution to all facets of JBM products and systems.
Rory McGauran – Director of Products Research and Development
Rory has a Masters degree in Computing and Software Development and 6 years working experience with both Computing and software Development. He has excellent knowledge of all technical requirements for Systems development .He is strongly committed that all the latest technologies and Computing Tools are at our disposal as we further develop our products. This is one of the most important key areas in our company’s continued growth. We commit to four new software releases yearly to make sure we stay ahead.

With a dedicated team in Galway, Dublin, London and Belfast and service centres throughout Ireland and the UK, JBM provides every client with tailored sales advice, excellent service, detailed training and professional ongoing support. Uniquely all JBM team members have extensive experience of working within the hospitality industry. This provides them with a detailed understanding of our customer’s day to day needs.
